1. Definitions: – The Company: Just Laptops Limited, Unit 10 Bridge Works, Kingston Road, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 7SU, United Kingdom. 08456 44 87 88
2. The Buyer/Customer: The purchaser of computer goods/components/services from Just Laptops Ltd.
3. Goods at all times remain the property of Just Laptops Ltd. until payment has been received and cleared in full.
4. It is the responsibility of the buyer to return and collect goods to/from the company’s premises.
5. Trademarks at all times remain the property of the registered owners.
6. Delivery of goods is subject to stock availability. If we are unable to satisfy your order due to insufficient stock, you will be informed immediately and you will not be charged for the goods, any monies already paid will be refunded to you in full.
7. Payment methods accepted are :- Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal or Bank Transfer.
8. For those goods sent by recorded delivery: – Upon delivery all goods must be signed for. Goods must be signed for by the addressee. We are not responsible for the loss of goods if they have been delivered to the correct address, but have been signed for and obtained by an unauthorised person. It is the customer’s responsibility to be available to meet the courier on the day of delivery at the specified address.
9. We will deliver to business addresses at your request. By instructing us to do so you are agreeing that anyone situated at your business address has your authority to accept goods on your behalf. We will accept no responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to and signed for at the requested address.
10. Delivery of goods is deemed as a service that expires once the goods have been delivered to the given address, therefore in the event of a cancelled order carriage fees are non refundable under any circumstances once the goods have been delivered and signed for.
11. Whilst every effort shall be made to keep any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential loss incurred by the buyer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. Unless otherwise agreed the Company may deliver by instalments and in such case each instalment shall be treated as a separate contract and any delay, default or non-delivery in respect of any instalment by the Company shall not entitle the buyer to cancel the remainder of the contract.
12. The window period for a standard delivery is 8:30AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday, with the exclusion of bank holidays.
13. We will endeavour to deliver your goods if in stock within 10 working days (with the exception of weekends, public holidays) but time shall not be of the essence. If we are unable to deliver the goods for any reason, you will be notified and will not be obliged to pay for the goods. However, we shall not be liable for any loss, which may be suffered by you caused by any delay of delivery unless caused by our negligence. If delivery of the goods is delayed by more than 30 days, you shall be entitled to contact us and cancel the order. Any monies paid in respect of goods, which are not delivered, will be refunded.
14. If an item is out of stock and has to be ordered in especially for the customer a 20% non-refundable deposit will be required.
15. We shall not be liable to you for any failure or delay in performance of our contract. If it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial dispute, fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies and if so delayed we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.
16. All products listed are second-user unless stated as being new.
17. Photos are shown to illustrate the item(s) advertised and may vary slightly from item on offer.
18. All laptops sold via the justlaptops.com website include a valid Microsoft Windows license as stated in individual adverts and a genuine Office suite is also included. In cases where software is installed but not supplied with a license it is installed for testing and demonstration purposes only. It is the owner’s responsibility to register or remove any such software. If licensed software is included it will be explicitly mentioned in the item description.
19. The company gives no assurance as to the mutual compatibility of components sold on a single invoice.
20. All prices published are subject to VAT at 20%. The prices quoted and advertised unless otherwise stated will be inclusive of VAT. Prices listed on the Company website, Company emailed offers and Company authorised external advertising are issued as guidelines only and do not constitute an offer to supply. In all cases Prices are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the Company.
21. The company reserves the right to decline service to any company or consumer.
22. The Company is entitled to make adjustments to the price displayed to take account of any increase in supplier prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties. If due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on the web site is wrong the company has the right to terminate an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. The Company will try to ensure that all prices displayed on its web site are accurate, but should an error occur the Company would inform the Customer of the correct price and give the Customer an opportunity to cancel the order.
23. By placing an order the Buyer is agreeing to purchase the goods subject to these terms and condition. It is assumed by the Company, that the Buyer accepts these terms and conditions in full. The contract begins when the company confirms acceptance of an order, either by phone or email. An order cannot be deemed as complete until the Company has received the Customers payment, or until credit terms have been agreed. Credit and Debit cards must have authorisation and validation of the card holders address.
24. Except as may be implied by law, where the buyer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these conditions by the Company the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstance exceed the price of the goods, and the Company shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

26. By purchasing any item(s) from Just Laptops Ltd you are accepting the above terms and conditions.

Conditions
1. As a valued customer you may cancel your purchase at any time within 7 days from the date of the invoice and we will give you a full refund of the Price Paid (excluding any carriage costs)
2. If the item was purchased through eBay the customer may cancel the purchase at any time within 7 days from the date of invoice and we will give a full refund of the Price Paid (excluding any carriage costs and listing costs or re-stocking fees, whichever is greater.)
3. Re-stocking fees are charged at 20% of the original purchase price.
4. Faulty Goods: If an item is delivered to you in a faulty state and you notify us within 7 days from the invoice date, then we will offer to refund, repair or replace the faulty item. Once 7 days have expired, then a repair or replacement will be offered within the specified warranty period only.
5. The Company accepts the responsibility of incorrectly dispatched goods (i.e. goods not matching the specification on the accompanying invoice) if notified in writing, or by email (sales@justlaptops.com) or by telephone to, and agreed by, the company within 7 working days of receipt. The Company agrees to pay the return postage to us of the incorrect item and send the correct goods at our cost. The Company does not accept any consequential loss to the customer during this period and offers no compensation for such.
6. If no warranty is specified then a standard warranty of 30 days from the date of invoice exists.
7. All products sold are on a Return To Base (RTB) basis unless otherwise agreed in writing before completion of sales transaction.
8. Products may only be returned once in receipt of our prior written or verbal consent. This is regardless of whether the product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
9. All permissions to return products will be authorised by the issuing of a Customer Returns Number (CRN). This number is to be clearly identified on the outside of the returned item(s) and is to be referenced to in all communications.
10. Customer Returns Numbers are valid for SEVEN days after issue date. Any item(s) returned after this date may be refused as invalid claims.
11. In accordance with the distance selling regulations, the following applies to all mail order and E-Commerce contracts via our website (it does not apply to on-line auction purchases such as through eBay): –
a. The buyer is entitled to return the goods within 7 working days for a refund subject to the following: –
b. It is reasonable for the buyer to open the outer packaging and inspect the goods. It is not acceptable to break any seals on the accompanying software or on the item itself.
c. Any software that forms part of the goods (driver and software disks) if unsealed by the buyer is exempt from the right to cancel and return the goods under the Distance Selling Regulations. However, if the goods are not as specified, or advertised as faulty, then the buyer may still reject the goods under The Sales of Goods Act.
d. Laptops built to the customer’s individual specification are exempt from the right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations.
e. If the buyer properly rejects any of the goods in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations within 7 working days in writing, the buyer shall nonetheless be responsible for the return cost of the goods.
12. Laptops returned as a result of a purchase where no faults are apparent will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% which covers any related payment processing, eBay fees, reconfiguration, wear and tear in transit of mechanical parts plus handling costs. Carriage is non-refundable.
13. The following items are refundable solely at our discretion:
a. Software items where the packaging and/or security seal have been opened, this includes extra software packages that were ordered with your laptop and installed by us, with the exception of Windows operating systems.
b. Bespoke items, such as laptops where a specific specification has been built for an individual users requirements.
14. Just Laptops Ltd reserve the right to levy charges for restocking and / or handling and / or administration and / or shipping where the returned item is deemed by Just Laptops Ltd to be correctly supplied and free from defect. This is 15% of the original purchase price excluding delivery charge as outlined in section 12. Please note delivery charges are non-refundable.
15. The Company reserves the right to levy charges for any of the following services: –
a. Inspection of any piece of computer equipment and installation/replacement of either software or hardware.
b. Diagnosis and testing of any problems encountered with any pieces of hardware or software.
c. Recovery of any hardware or software problems and backup of any data when requested by the customer
16. If an item is returned without prior written notification or without a returns number, then Just Laptops Ltd reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement and charge for re-delivery.
17. You shall not be entitled to a refund or replacement of damaged goods if the defect arises because you fail to follow the manufactures instructions as to use, installation, commissioning, or maintenance of the goods or you alter or repair such goods without our written consent.
18. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and be refunded to your account.
19. Replacement or repaired items will be returned to you with-in 30 days of the receipt of the original item(s). However in all cases the Company will endeavour to return goods within 7 working days of receipt. If, after 30 days, a replacement cannot be sent for whatever reason, a full refund will be given if requested at the current market value of the item. If this is not ascertainable, then a refund will be given for the value of the nearest equivalent item.
20. With respect to items sold at the shop, the Company offers the following services to buyers returning products:
a. Non faulty items returned to our premises complete with packaging, manuals and software disks (if included) within 7 working days of purchase may obtain a full refund.
b. Non faulty items returned to our premises complete with packaging, manuals and software disks (if included) after 7 working days of purchase may obtain a credit note.
c. Items which were ordered in specially will get a full refund minus the 20% deposit if they are Non faulty items returned to our premises complete with packaging, manuals and software disks (if included) within 7 working days of purchase.
d. Items which were ordered in specially will get a credit note to the value of the item minus the 20% deposit if they are Non faulty items returned to our premises complete with packaging, manuals and software disks (if included) after 7 working days of purchase.
e. Items found to be faulty within 7 days of purchase may obtain a full refund.
f. Item found to be faulty after 7 days may obtain a credit note.
g. All other return conditions will be as previously stated.
21. Any parcels sent to the Company e.g. for repair, where invalid or no contact information is provided will become the property of the Company if unclaimed within 60 days.
22.The Company does not accept responsibility for any failures to the buyer’s components within its possession, unless the Company has damaged these.
